Q: Is this really an unreleased MAME rom?
A: Let me put it this way. Fargo (1996) is one of my favorite movies. It begins with a text screen that says
BASED UPON A TRUE STORY. Notice how the pranksters that are the Coen Brothers made an interesting choice there. It reframes your perception. Put another way, if you believed that, I have some prime real estate in Florida I’d love for you to check out for a good price.
Q: Why can’t I skip that opening crawl screen?
A: Also a choice. Remember back in the day you were limited to a big clunky cartridge? It's limited options? A password to resume your previous level? Ah, those were the days. Less is ALWAYS more. There’s no mystery anymore in our content. The readme.txt in the game is a bit more snarky, a bit more of an explanation. But for now, have fun letting the universe dictate the terms for a change.
The short answer:
this game REQUIRES you to be present for it. Are you present for your own life? Ya can't do presence. Ya have to be it. If that bothers ya, then this game is not for you.

Q: Any plans to do more?
A: I was thinking about another tongue in cheek mini-game. Maybe one loosely inspired by the game Pitfall. If there are bugs or major hang ups, then maybe I will revisit this. But I got this out of my system, so moving on to bigger and better things. But I’d love to do a Golden Axe game in this vein, and call it GOLDEN AXES. And did you see that cartoon that just dropped on HBO?!
Q: How can I interact with you?
A: I don't do legacy forums and think social media is a circle of hell. But sometimes we need to use these tools. I have a private discord where I dabble in fan editing of movies and other artistic endeavors. It's too busy and esoteric a space for something like this. Plus, I value my privacy.
